A Few Recommended Resources for Christmas
Merry Christmas! My parents are visiting us in Northern Virginia this week (and my brother was here over the weekend as well before he returned to Chicago to spend Christmas Day with our grandmother and uncles) and it’s been a joy to have them here for this most wonderful time of year.
Just dropping off a few links before I get back to the festivities.
Esau McCaulley’s timely Christmas essay for The Altantic.
David Galli’s Christmas prayer from ten years ago in Christianity Today that I still find meaningful.
My annual 12 Days of Christmas Music playlist on Spotify.
Ongoing from late November, The Advent Project from Biola University (which continues through the Feast of the Epiphany at the end of these twelve days).
I lit the Christ Candle at home last night after returning from my church’s Christmas Eve service; photo below. I’ve had this hand-crafted Advent wreath for about three years now and I love getting it out of storage each year.
